Starting in 1898 with CJ Meiselwitz, the Meiselwitz Funeral Home has served Kiel and the surrounding communities with compassion and understanding at a very fragile time in their lives. We are pleased to announce the completion of our 9-month interior and exterior renovation just short of our 125th anniversary. Not only has the building changed, but you may also notice our name has changed to Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home. The current owner, Michael DeTroye, who has been with Meiselwitz since 1996 and its owner since 2012, felt the time was right for the change. What hasn't changed is our dedication to serving Kiel and the surrounding communities with compassion and understanding when they need it most.
