Plymouth
Trudy L. Thome, 50, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Trudy was born September 30, 1970, in Merrill, to Kenneth and Faye (Widder) Schelk. She was a graduate of Howards Grove High School with the class of 1988. On August 25, 2001, she married Jon Thome in Plymouth, celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. She was employed as an Office Manager at Pfeifer's Feed Mill in Greenbush, which she was very proud of. She enjoyed scrapbooking with friends, camping with her family, talks with her mother, fishing with her dad, reading her Bible, game days with nieces and nephew, and special day outings with her sister Tracy. When she was younger, she was very involved in Campus Life, which to this day was still an important ministry to her. Most important in her life were her love for her husband, children, and Buster and her love for the Lord. In her own words before her death, "God is good and we are all blessed. Always draw close to God and you should never fear. Just bright hope for the future. " She is at peace now in her eternal home. We shall all miss her smiles and laughter and generous, sensitive heart.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jon, she is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Thome (Gabby Tock) and Grant Thome; her sisters, Tammy (Todd) Matzdorf, Tracy (Casey) Litz and Tanya (Dean) Gosse; her mother-in-law, Darlene Thome; her sister-in-law, Trecia Thome and her brother-in-law, Craig (Sara) Thome. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John D. Thome.
