Ronny A. Anderson, age 66, of rural Kiel, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, October 24, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on August 6, 1950 in Rice Lake, WI, son of Judy (Monson) Anderson and the late Owen Anderson.
Ron was a 1968 graduate of Rice Lake High School.
He was a proud veteran of the Wisconsin National Guard.
On May 3, 1975, he married Janet Kent in Spooner, WI.
Ron worked for 38 years at H.G. Weber Co., Kiel, retiring in 2013.
He enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting and spending quiet time in the woods. He further enjoyed vacationing with his family and especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Janet, three daughters; Sarah (David) Werdeo, Beth (Scott) Anzia, Heidi (Andy) Nault, 5 grandchildren; Ben, Greta, Nolan, Caleb, & Brielle, and his mother, Judy Anderson. He is further survived by his brother & sisters; Bruce (Jan) Anderson, Karen (George) Berning, Debby (Tom) Sparish, Diane (Jim) Jacobson, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Owen Anderson, brother-in-law, Derek Kent, mother-in-law and father-in-law, John & Betty Kent, and one niece, Jolene Anderson.
Funeral services for Ron will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel with Deacon Pat Knier officiating.
Per Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
Ron's family would like to thank the emergency rescue crews that were there in their need.
