Robert A.
Voigt
Jun 15, 1946 — Oct 9, 2020
Kiel
Robert A. "Bob" Voigt, age 74, of Kiel passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2020, due to COVID complications.
He was born June 15, 1946 in Sheboygan, son of Lester & Elsie (Peichl) Voigt. On February 3, 1968 he married his best friend and wonderful wife the former Jane Kuether at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Kiel. He was a life-long member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
He was a 1964 graduate of Kiel High School and a 1969 graduate of Spencerian College receiving the degree of "Bachelor of Business Administration".
He cherished every moment with his wife, boat rides, Prius rides, counting deer, and enjoying the cottage and mother nature - as long as they were together. Family was his number one priority. Affectionately known as "Pa," he loved and was proud of his children and grandchildren, attending numerous hockey, baseball, and lacrosse games and watching his oldest grandson become an avid race fan at Road America.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Jane of 52 years; two daughters, Carolyn (Brian) Esswein of Wauwatosa and Jacqueline/JJ (Ernie) Dieball of Toledo, Ohio; three grandsons, who he loved dearly; Taylor and Parker Esswein and Dean Dieball: two brothers, Charles (Paulette) of Chilton and Jack (Terri) Green Oaks, IL; mother-in –law Marion Kuether of Kiel and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Lester Voigt, mother; Elsie Voigt, his father-in-law; Milton Kuether and mother-in-law; Elfriede Kuether.
A celebration of life is to be determined.
