Lorraine A. Gosse, age 101 a resident of Marytown, passed away with her sons by her side on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center of Chilton.

The daughter of the late Louis and Martha (Kollath) Moersch was born at home in the Village of Elkhart Lake on August 30, 1915.

Lorraine attended Elkhart Lake Grade School and graduated from the same High School in 1933. On October 24, 1936 she married Roland Carl Gosse at Evangelical Church, Elkhart Lake; he preceded her in death on February 25, 1964.

She worked as a "Household Engineer" for many village and lake people, as sub janitor in the Elementary School and also was a Den Mother for her 10 Cub Scouts for many years.

After the death of her husband, Lorraine worked for Dr. Thieler and Dr. Schutlz of Kiel from 1964-1969. Then she went to live with her son Roland in Oregon, WI and later settled with Roland in Marytown.

Survivors include her two sons: Roland and Dennis, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter: Rola Ann (Clifford) Klahn, son: Leon (Ginger) Gosse, daughter-in-law: Yvonne Gosse, two brothers: Lawrence (Leona) Moersch and Leonard (Janet) Moersch.

Per Lorraine's wishes a graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at St. John Cemetery, Elkhart Lake.

The family would like to thank the staff at Atrium Post Acute Care of Chilton for the wonderful care that was shown to their mother.
