Linda Gaye Breckheimer (née King, formerly Clement) age 77, passed away peacefully on August 26, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Watertown, WI, she was the daughter of the late Ed King Jr. and Marion King. Linda lived a life defined by her devotion to caring for others. For many years, she opened her heart and her home to nurture over 70 children, creating a loving home away from home, where they could truly flourish. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she shaped, many of whom still affectionately keep in touch. Beyond her work with children, Linda poured her energy into her home, often tending to her garden and canning. She shared a love for the outdoors, especially moments sitting on the deck of the cabin alongside her husband, Lee. She enjoyed joining his fishing, hunting, and trapping adventures, and taking a hands-on role in the community trapping classes. She is survived by her children, Tom Clement, and Ginny Bocek (Jim), her cherished grandchildren, Lucas and Danielle; and her siblings, Ed King III (Ellen), Diane Schmidt (Bob), Tim King (Deb), Susan Strohbusch (Steve), and Dan King (Lori). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee Breckheimer, her parents, Ed King Jr. and Marion King, and brother, Mike King. A heartfelt thank you to the devoted friends who supported her and Lee over the years, and to the compassionate caregivers at AngelsGrace Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Foundation in her honor.
