Obituary

Lincoln Mitchell Boris – 2 years and 8 days old went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday morning, October 26, 2022. Lincoln died peacefully in his sleep at home. He was healthy until the moment God graciously called him home. Lincoln was born October 18, 2020 to his parents Devin & Kathryn (Henning) Boris and just welcomed home his baby brother, Samuel (3 months old).
He was so filled with joy, had a larger-than-life smile, had a humble and gracious heart. Lincoln brought a smile to everyone he met. He loved his cousins and family so much and he couldn't wait for them to be around. Lincoln loved to help and embraced life every day.

Survivors include his parents: Devin & Kathryn and brother, Samuel; grandparents: Todd & Lisa Boris; his uncle and aunt, Justin & Megan Boris and cousins: Rylan, Hudson, Violet & Norah; grandparents: Kert & Christi Henning and his uncles and aunts: Rebekah & Cory Henschel, cousins: Colton, Easton & Penelope; Joshua & Maura Henning, cousins: Everett, Clara & Evelyn; Laura Henning; Rachel & Chris Nadler; great-grandparents; Walter Boris and friend Kathy, Helen Henning, and Mona Stack. He is further survived by his great aunts, uncles, other relatives and many special buddies that he met along his journey of life.

Lincoln was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: James & Janice Randall, June Boris, Everett & Jellane Henning, and Jack Stack.

Our hearts are shattered and the pain is deep. We can't begin to thank everyone for their prayers during this difficult time, but we believe in a Sovereign God who knew us before we were born and numbered our days here on earth. Isaiah 57:1 "Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come."

We know Lincoln is walking in Heaven with our Lord and Savior because he believed when Jesus said in John 14:6 – "I am the way the truth and the life – no one comes to the Father except through me." If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ – ask Him to come into your life. We will miss him – his joy, his laughter and all he was, but God had greater plans for him and for us. God blessed us and the 2 years we had with him. Time to love and to celebrate the goodness that God has given us. May we praise the name of the Lord forever.

Please join the family in Celebrating the goodness that was given to them at 10:30AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Faith Alliance Church, (468 N. State St.,Chilton) with Reverend James Jensen officiating. Lincoln will be laid to rest at Bethlehem UCC Cemetery, Town of Schleswig with a private family service.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 9:00AM until the time of service at 10:30AM.

The family requests that in lieu of all flowers and memorial items, please assist them in a memorial fund that will be established in Lincoln's name.

The Boris family would like to thank the New Holstein and Calumet County Emergency Units, especially Josh Harn and Mike Klaeser for going above and beyond for the family during their time of need.
