Katherine A. Kraus, 64, of Town Russell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Katherine was born June 17, 1959, in Racine, to the late Walter and Ruth (Wiehr) Kraus. She attended Kiel High School. Katherine enjoyed spending time with her family, cherished her cats and was always together with her daughter, Amy. Holidays were always special to her. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, partaking in Chinese food and her obsession with Coca-Cola.

Survivors include her two children, Jason Walber and Amy Walber and her granddaughter, Summer Riemer. She is further survived by a brother and niece, and a nephew, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Marian Wiehr.

A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th Street, Kiel) from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
