She enjoyed her time with Franz, together they enjoyed making wine, gardening, canning and attending rummage sales. She would fill her time crocheting and knitting for others, and always making everyone feel special. Her last years she spent living with her daughter in Chilton, where she took great care of Hilde's cats and the garden.
