Jeanette V. Conrad, age 87 of Kiel, WI went to her Savior on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

Jeannette was born on February 6, 1928 in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, the daughter of the late Elmor A. and Pearl (Sternbeck) Hammel. She attended Fountain Park Grade School, until their move to Kiel in 1937. Jeanette was confirmed at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. She was a graduate of Kiel High School with the class of 1945. On September 20, 1947 she was united in marriage to Lyle H. Conrad, town of Russell, Sheboygan County at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1987.

Together they farmed on the Conrad Homestead until his passing. She was employed part-time at Lake to Lake for 2 years. After moving to Plymouth, Jeanette worked part-time at PrangeWay, the Drug store in Howards Grove, and then almost 13 years at Mills Fleet Farm in Plymouth, which she truly enjoyed.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as Trinity Ladies Aid, served as an officer for several terms; taught third grade Sunday School class and was also a Vacation Bible School Teacher. She was also a Charter Member of the Marsh Maid Homemakers Club of Sheboygan County.

Jeanette is survived her four children: Larry & Mary Conrad of Manitowoc, Janice & Gene Buchmann of Kiel, Lee & Rita Conrad of rural Elkhart Lake and Jenny Lynn & Glenn Hansmann of Kiel; 8 grandchildren: Rich Conrad (Kathra Clark), Tracy (Jeff) Sabel, Amy (Rick) Klunck, Ben (Jodi) Conrad, Becky Burrell (Robert Halbach), Sam (Sara) Conrad, and April & Laura Hansmann; two step-grand daughters: Tracy (Greg) Geurts and Rachel Kronberg-Monka (William Reichard); 16 great grandchildren: Kyle & Dylan Conrad, Madison & Brayden Sabel, Quinten, Abby and Mason Klunck, Kendyle & Kylie Conrad, Porsche Burrell, Austin & Isabella Conrad, John Geurts & Amanda Jeske and Shayna & Ethan Monka. She is further survived by two great great grandchildren: Melanie and Madelyn Jeske; one niece: Diane Conrad of Glendale, WI, other relatives and friends.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband: Lyle Conrad, her parents, an infant brother, sister and brother-in law: Agnes & Norman Conrad, her nephew and neice: Glenn Conrad and Lynn Pfister, her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Walter and Anita Conrad and her step-father-in-law: Fred Gonwa.

Funeral Services for Jeannette will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church (387 Cemetery Road, Kiel). Officiating at the service will be Pastor David Laabs, with burial to follow at the Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00AM until 10:45AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the church.

A memorial will be established in Jeannette's name.
