Janet M. Skelton-Louis, formerly of Kiel, age 84, died unexpectedly on Monday evening, October 25, 2021 at Songbird Pond in Plymouth.

Janet was born on April 2, 1937 in Sheboygan County, born to the late Willard and Dorothy (Buss) Skelton. She attended Parnell Grade School and was a graduate of Plymouth High School with the class of 1955. On March 7, 1987 she married the love of her life, Richard Louis in California. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2020. Before retiring Janet worked as a manager of mobile parks as well as Borden's Cheese. Janet also enjoyed driving bus as well as singing in a band. She could be found watching a good football game, gambling or watching TV.

She is survived by her children: Pat (Julie) Lensmire, Parnell, Jeff (Debbie) Lensmire, Plymouth, Penny (Phil) Jones, Sheboygan, Pam (Andy) Liermann, Plymouth, Traci (Jimmy) Grindel, Arizona, and Terese Edwards, Plymouth; step-children: Rick (Trudy) Louis and Kathy Zahmow; 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Dorothy Skelton, husband, Dick; son-in-law: Bruce Edwards and daughter-in-law: Sue Lensmire.

Per Janet's wishes, cremation has occurred and a private family service will be held at a later date.
