Gloria Jean Buchman, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein.  She was born April 20, 1935, in the town of Meeme to the late Harvey and Luetta (Mueller) Kuester.  During her life, Gloria worked for Tecumseh Products in New Holstein.  On June 22, 1957, Gloria married James Buchman at First Presbyterian Church in Kiel.  Her hobbies included tending her garden, watching NASCAR races, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and participating in ceramics classes.  She also dearly loved her Siamese cats, the most recent being Chieng.

Gloria is survived by her sister-in-law, Geraldine Kuester; her step-siblings, Eddy (Karen) Arnold, Jean (Robert) Spalding and her stepbrother-in-law, Dwight Peterson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sylvester and Augusta (Wolske) Buchman, her brothers, Everett and Merlin Kuester and her stepsister, Nancy Peterson.

A graveside service for Gloria will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Kiel City Cemetery.
