Geraldine "Gerry" Korb, age 86, entered eternal peace on February 3, 2026, following a brief illness. She passed away surrounded by her family.

Gerry was born on September 28, 1939, to Alvin and Vernia (Brost) Sixel and was the youngest of their three children. She married Richard Korb Jr. on October 21, 1961, and together they shared 59 years of marriage.

Above all else, Gerry's greatest love was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren, holding each of them close to her heart.

Gerry is survived by her children: DuWayne (Kim) Korb, Dean (Sandy) Korb, Jill Korb, John (Ronda) Korb, and Hope (Tod) Wilkens; nine grandchildren, many great‑grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. She is further survived by sisters‑in‑laws Ludine (James) Daniel and Nathalie Faris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her son, Lee; and her granddaughter, Casey. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Vernia Sixel; her father‑in‑law and mother‑in‑law, Richard Sr. and Martha (Ellermann) Korb; her sisters and their spouses, Louette (Robert) Boeldt and Margene (Milton) Karstaedt; brothers‑in‑laws and sisters‑in‑laws Allen (Evelyn) Korb, Alice (Frances) Buechel, Milton Korb, and Jay Faris.

Per Gerry's request a private funeral to be held. Burial will follow in the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sycamore Lodge Assistant Living and Sharon Richard Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to Gerry as she prepared for her next journey. We are forever grateful.
