Elaine Marian Brennan, 97 years old, formerly of New Holstein, WI, passed away at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Center on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.  Elaine Marian Brennan, twin daughter of William and Caroline (Spatchek) Pritzl was born on March 31, 1925 at home in rural Brillion, WI.  She graduated from Brillion High School in 1943.  She worked at the Heil Company in Milwaukee, WI.  She was united in marriage to James O. Brennan on November 6, 1947 at St. Mary's Church in Brillion, WI.  James and Elaine had three children, Dorene Goswitz, Dennis Brennan and Terry J. (Sandra) Brennan.  James and Elaine ran Brennan's Tavern for 15 years.  Elaine was in charge of fish fries on Friday nights at their tavern in Valders, WI.  The family moved to New Holstein, WI to start a trucking business.  Elaine became involved at Holy Rosary Parish.  She washed the altar linens for 50 plus years and sang in the choir at Holy Rosary Church.  During this time, she cleaned homes for many families in New Holstein and Kiel, WI along with summer homes by the lake.  Elaine would often say these were her best years.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline, her twin sister, Emily, Lenora and Irene, brothers, Jerome and Leo.  She is survived by her three children, Dorene, Dennis and Terry J. (Sandra), many nieces, nephews and cousins, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., at Holy Rosary church (1724 Madison Street, New Holstein) with Father Alvan Amadi as celebrant.  Visitation will be on  Saturday, at the church, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  A luncheon will follow at the Altona Supper Club following the service.  A private interment will be at Knollwood in Mishicot, WI.
