Donna Mae J. Wollersheim, age 75, died peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her home after a short battle with brain cancer.

Donna was born on July 15, 1947 in Sheboygan, daughter of Gertrude (Fink) Ninmer and the late Orville Ninmer.  She was a graduate of Kiel High School and on June 8, 1968 she married Dale Wollersheim at St. Peter UCC, Kiel.  Donna looked forward to her days spent with all the littles in her life, babysitting for her family and friends for many years.  Later, Donna joined the Kiel Area School District as part of the kitchen staff, from where she retired.  In her spare time, Donna enjoyed taking care of her flower beds, camping and lounging in her pool.  Donna was a proud parent and grandma, supporting her family any way she could.

Donna is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dale; two children: Amy (Todd) Meyer and Steve (Jessica) Wollersheim, six grandsons: Logan Peter, Devyn Peter, Nicholas Lefeber (Kasey), Coulton Meyer, Mason Meyer (Julie) and Tye Wollersheim, her mother: Gertrude Ninmer; brothers and sister: Gary (Lana) Ninmer, Linda Jochimsen, and Daniel (Kelly) Ninmer; sister-in-law: Gwen Ninmer; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Janice Schneider, Larry Wollersheim, Sandra (Bob) Bowe and Karen Walsdorf.  She is further survived by many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Stacy, father: Orville, brothers: David and Michael Ninmer, brothers-in-law: Howard Jochimsen, Cyril Schneider and Dan Walsdorf; and nephews, Keith Jochimsen and David Karsteadt.

Funeral Services for Donna will be held at 5:00PM  on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Meiselwitz-Volstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6 th Street, Kiel).  She will be laid to rest at Kiel City Cemetery on Thursday.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 3:00PM until 4:45PM
