Daniel Lando "Gadget" Walsdorf, age 79, son of the late Leo and Viola (Rock) Walsdorf, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 19, 2016.
Dan attended Kiel area schools. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving his country from 1955-1957 aboard the ship, US NOA. When he was discharged from the navy he worked at Tecumseh Products, and later was employed at Walsdorf Roofing Company, from which he retired.
Dan enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a certain kind of wit about him, and was liked by everyone.
On November 13, 2012 he married Karen Graf of Kiel.
He is survived by his wife: Karen, his children: Kim Criscione, Appleton, Tim "Harry" (Mary) Walsdorf, Kiel, Dan "Mose" (Connie) Walsdorf, Kiel, Jill Pingel (Allen Riesterer), Glenbuelah and Becky (Chris) Abel, Kaukauna. He is further survived by 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister, Pat (Al) Hartmann, Kiel, two brothers, Dave (Eileen) Walsdorf, Kiel, Mike (Lois) Walsdorf, Kiel, sister-in-law, Nancy Walsdorf (Dennis Cullen), Kiel, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Bill) Fromm, brother, Tim Walsdorf, infant brother, Stanley Walsdorf, great grandson, Carter Ninmer and step-son, John Graf.

According to Dan's wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.

Dan will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses and Drs. Soto, Taylor and Hendrick in the ICU and Hospice of St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan for the wonderful care he received.
