Charlotte H. Erbstoesser, 92, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Meadowview Manor.  She was born January 2, 1930, in Sheboygan, to the late Joseph and Helen (Ahrens) Goebel.  Charlotte graduated from Sheboygan Central High School.  In 1949, she married Allan Erbstoesser.  He preceded her in death in September of 2001.  The couple owned and operated Erbstoesser Grocery in Sheboygan for over 25 years.  Charlotte continued to work at the Aurora Sheboygan Clinic before her retirement in 1991.  Following her retirement, Allan and Charlotte moved to Alabama, spending winters in Gulf Shores and summers camping in Wisconsin.  She returned to Wisconsin permanently in 2013.

Charlotte was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed traveling, camping, volunteered at Escambia Elementary School and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Mary) Erbstoesser; her grandchildren, Matthew Erbstoesser, Jennifer (Brian) Teunissen, Laura (David) Madson, Katherine (Shannon) Williams, Holly (Michael) Huth and Joseph Erbstoesser; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, William (Sharon) Goebel; her daughter-in-law, Terry Erbstoesser and her sister-in-law, Mary Goebel.

In addition to her parents and husband, Allan, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Erbstoesser, her brother, Gerald Goebel and her sister, Arlene (Van) Van Wagner.
