Charlotte C. Dedering, 81, of Kiel died Thursday morning May 27, 2021 at her home, after a battle with cancer. She is the former Charlotte Dorn, born on the family homestead on July 8, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph and Appolonia (Rollmann) Dorn.

Charlotte attended St. Ann Grade School and graduated from New Holstein High School. On June 30, 1962 she was united in marriage to Robert G. Dedering at St. Ann Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2010.

Charlotte was employed by Lake to Lake, Kiel for numerous years before working for Sargento until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. She also volunteered at the Community Center and Meals on Wheels. Charlotte enjoyed camping, polka music and going to the Hodag Country Festival. She was the family picture taker and was always ready to take photo memories of all the fun times.

Survivors include her son; Dean, sisters; Kathy (Joe) Heimerl, Kiel, Donna (Don) Jacques, Fond du Lac, Janice (Bob) Mand, Malone, Sue (Lyle) Pitzen, Kiel, brother; Joe Jr. (Linda) Dorn, New Holstein, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Rudolph Wendling, Sylvia Anhalt, Barbara Schwind, Anthony Kauth, Diane (Thomas) Twohig, Nancy (Robert) Weir, Elsie Arnold. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Bob, daughter; Annette, sisters; Debra Jean Dorn and JoAnn Wenzel and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral Mass for Charlotte will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church (423 Fremont St. Kiel) Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3:00pm until 4:45pm when we will have brief family rites before the Mass at 5:00pm.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
