Amelia Fay (Breit) Rach, 42 of New Holstein, formerly of Kiel, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on January 13, 2022.  Amelia was born on January 17, 1979 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Dennis and Germaine (Faust) Breit.  She was a graduate of Kiel High School with the class of 1998.  Amelia married Steven Rach on November 15, 2008 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.

Caring for those around her was at the core of who Amelia was and a common thread throughout her life.  She loved her family and friends and shared her compassion for others by working for local care facilities with the elderly, disabled, and those recovering from surgeries.  Amelia found true joy and pride in this purpose.  Later, she moved on to other jobs as the physical requirements became too much.  After rejoining the family business for many years, Amelia found a new passion for bartending which gave her an opportunity to spend time talking to new and old friends.  While tackling life's obstacles over the last few years including multiple back surgeries, heart issues, and battling lung cancer – she always talked about looking forward to returning to bartending because of how much she loved the interaction with others.

An equestrian from a young age, one of the greatest of Amelia's passions were caring for, riding, and competitively showing horses.  Her home was lovingly decorated with her own paintings and photographs of her days as a competitive show rider.  Amelia owned horses at various times and found no greater joy than riding.  Additionally, she loved to paint, color, crochet and knit, sharing some of those passions with her mother, at times attending the same creative groups together.  Her home also highlighted her strong faith in God and Jesus Christ.

Amelia is survived by her parents: Dennis and Germaine Breit; brothers and sister-in-law: Chadd & Denielle (Delle Donne) Breit, and Barry Breit; former husband, Steven Rach; stepson, Brendan (Angelica) Rach; niece, Patricia Delle Donne; and nephew, Samual (Perla Riojas) Delle Donne. She is further survived by uncles and aunts: Lloyd (Margarita) Faust and Donald (Debra) Breit, cousins, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Julian; her favorite dog, Snow; grandparents: Leroy "Shorty" and Georgiana Breit, Leo Faust and Charmaine Hansen, along with great aunts and uncles.

In accordance with her wishes, Amelia was cremated, and her ashes reside with loved ones.  Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her parents home (Dennis & Germaine Breit) W277 Foundry Rd, Kiel; from 2:30pm until 6:30pm.  A Prayer Service will be held about 3:00pm.  Family has asked that you park in the Co-op lot and a shuttle service will be provided.
