Mary Ann Willinger age 59 1021 Fourth St. Kiel died Wednesday morning March 25, 2009 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was the former Mary Ann May born May 6, 1949 daughter of the late William and Mary McCarthy May.
She was a 1967 graduate of Kiel High School and then attended UW Madison.
On January 25, 1975 she married Joseph Willinger at First Presbyterian Church in Kiel.
Mary Ann was employed at various businesses in the area including the Calumet County Nursing Home in Chilton, Art Unlimited in New Holstein and the Kwik Trip in Kiel.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and playing cribbage.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Joseph; two sons, Chuck (Beth) Willinger of Waupun and Joey Willinger of Stevens Point; one granddaughter, Cassandra Willinger of DuPont, Washington; four step daughters, Kris (Bob) Harley of Lake Forest, Illinois, Connie (Mike) Steinhardt of Kiel, Barbara (Tom) Karls of rural Kiel, Katie Willinger of rural Plymouth; her step grandchildren, Jessica Harley, Eliza (David) Curtiss, Chelsea Harley, Lindsey (Nathan) Steinhardt Bortz, Alexia (Eric) Karls Rebne, Lucas Karls; one step-great grandchild, Brady Bortz, one brother, William (Bobbie) May of Sheboygan; two sisters, Cathy (Bob) Schmidt of Racine and Peggy (Don) Hahn of Plymouth; one nephew, Jason (Megan) Rice and their son Aden, and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
According to her wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
