Diane M. Jacque

Diane M. Jacque, age 58, of rural Kiel, died Thursday evening, August 9, 2012 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was the former Diane Rabe born September 15, 1953 In Sheboygan, daughter of Rosaline (Schwarz) Rabe and the late George Rabe Jr. Diane was a graduate of New Holstein High School and recently received her certificate from LTC in phlebotomy. On May 27, 2006 she married Robert Jacque. Diane had previously been employed at Gilson's in Plymouth and Tecumseh Products, New Holstein. She had been working at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton until her retirement due to illness. Diane was a member of Wilkes Lake Association and the Kiel Bean Bags League. She enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, cooking and crafts. Survivors include her husband Bob, one son, Matthew Hebard & special friend Cherie Ledoux, Denver, CO, her mother, Rose Rabe, New Holstein and brothers & sisters: Wayne Rabe, Chilton, Cheryl (Allen) Sawitski, Oshkosh, Lynn Rabe, New Holstein, Judy (Dave) Strutz, Green Lake, George III (Linda) Rabe, New Holstein, Jane (Gary) Kienbaum, New Holstein, Bonnie Rabe, New Holstein, Kathy Dill, New Holstein and Scott (Elizabeth) Rabe, rural Kiel, She is further survived by one sister-in-law, Nancy (Matt) Koenigs, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George Rabe, brother-in-law, David Dill, nieces, Kim Chapin. Tia Rabe, Carla Rabe and Alexandria Rabe. Funeral services for Diane will be held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Entombment will take place in Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Diane's family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Timothy Goggins and the staff at Calumet Medical Center for their care and a special thank you to Scott & Liz Rabe for all the help, love and special care they gave to her.
